I qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and have specialised in private client law ever since.
Prior to establishing Simpson Law, I was a partner in a large regional firm and before that, a partner and department head in another well-regarded West Somerset law firm for several years.
I have a broad client base which includes many farmers, business owners and their families. I have a particular interest and expertise in administering agricultural estates and in advising farming families. This includes detailed succession planning, often working alongside other professional advisors, including accountants and surveyors to achieve my clients’ objectives.
Clients praise my knowledge and communication skills, which allow me to address complex legal issues concisely. I am also known for my professionalism and my friendly manner.
I am a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

I qualified in 2009 and have specialised as a private client solicitor throughout my career. Before founding Simpson Law, I worked for a large regional firm and before that at other well-established firms in Somerset, including as a partner.
I advise clients on all aspects of estate administration (including complex estates); succession planning (including the preparation of wills and the creation of trusts) and mental capacity matters (including the preparation and registration of lasting powers of attorney and making Court of Protection applications).
I provide friendly, pragmatic and strategic support to clients during difficult and important times. I am skilled at breaking down and clearly explaining complex legal concepts. I also have a wealth of experience negotiating the processes and systems required to complete matters efficiently and correctly.
